Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information VBS Distribution (“we”) collects when you browse and buy from this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Cart: a random cart identifier stored in a cookie so your cart persists between pages. It is not linked to your name until you check out.
  • Checkout: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and payment details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe sends us your name, email, phone, shipping address and the payment result.
  • Orders: we keep a record of each order (items, amount, shipping details and contact details) so we can fulfil it and handle returns and support.
  • Language preference: your chosen language is saved in your browser.

How we use it

  • To process payment, pack and ship your order, and contact you about it.
  • To email you a one-time order confirmation, and to email our team the details needed to ship.
  • To provide customer support, handle returns and refunds, and prevent fraud.
  • To meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.

We do not send marketing emails. If that ever changes, we will ask for your permission first and include an unsubscribe link in every message.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the store:

  • Stripe, to take payment.
  • Our email provider, to send order emails.
  • The United States Postal Service, to deliver your order (name and address).
  • Our hosting providers, which store the site and order records.
  • Tulix, which provides the embedded livestream player on our home page and may set its own cookies and collect technical data when the player loads. See its own privacy policy for details.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Abandoned carts are not linked to any personal information.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will not treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email us at the address below from the email you used to order. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. When you ask us to delete your information, we erase your name, contact details and shipping address from our order records; we may keep the order total and items for accounting. You may also ask Stripe to delete data it holds.

Children

This store is for adults. You must be at least 18 to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Payments are handled by Stripe over encrypted connections. We limit access to order records to people who need them to fulfil orders. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
